The sequence begins at the main entrance, continues via the administration and Waldfrieden crematorium to the Darmstadt firestorm memorial, and ends at West Gate. Large grounds: check the route on site
Darmstadt Forest Cemetery is about 650 metres long. This sequence is neither signposted nor surveyed; complete information on distance, gradients and step-free continuity is not available. Use existing paths and on-site signs only.
Do not confuse the cemetery administration with the separate crematorium operation. Keep paths clear at the memorial and give ceremonies space. For individual graves, use grave search or the separate notable-graves catalogue.
